Members of the S.A.F.E. Hourly Employee Safety Team wanted a way to recognize and reward employees for working safely. As your Safety Agents for Employees, rather than policing our co-workers and calling people out for doing something wrong, we wanted to put a positive spin on it and call them out for doing it right! Armed with “Safety Bucks” – $5 Crest Store certificates, we hit the floor and found lots of our co-workers doing just that! These are just a few of our co-workers who were recognized for doing the simple and safe things like using the proper PPE ( including seatbelts ! ), operating forklifts safely or performing the required pre-shift inspection of their equipment.
