On September 8th, 2023 we held our 33rd annual Supplier Night at Prairie View Golf Course in Bryon, IL. It was another beautiful day for golf (good or bad). We had fun. And most importantly we honored our suppliers. This year we had around 75 golfers and close to 100 people for dinner. It was a good mix of suppliers that have been around for a long time and some brand new ones.
After playing a round of golf we had a nice social hour and dinner so Crest Foods employees and suppliers were able to meet and talk to everyone. You would be surprised by the connections our suppliers make not only with the Crest team but with other suppliers.
Then it was time for what the day really is for, honoring our top Suppliers of the Year. First up was the ever entertaining and motivating speech from our President Jeff Meiners. It’s always hard to top Jeff’s speeches but Maurice Millan and Matt Richardson were up next to present our Suppliers of the Year for the 2022-2023. Maurice presented the first Supplier of the Year to John Ziccarelli and Pete Lorusso from TLC Ingredients. Matt Richardson presented the final Supplier of the Year to Steve Greer, Kim Arne and Blake Dummer from Motion Industries.
We can’t thank all our suppliers enough for what you do for Crest Foods day in and day out for us. A big thank you goes out to all of you. We look forward to celebrating another great year next year!
