The Crest Foods College Program is a great way to avoid college debt! High school seniors graduating in May 2024 can apply for the program. Students accepted into the Crest Foods College Program will work full time at Crest during the summer. In the fall, Crest will pay in-district, local community college tuition in exchange for working 2-3 nights a week on our B-Shift in Production for competitive wages.
Students attending NIU can apply for the program. Crest will cover tuition based on Sauk Valley Community College’s rates.
All program participants will receive:
- Paid Tuition: Paid in-district tuition and fees at a local community college each semester
- Paid Books: Book reimbursement up to $500 per semester
- Paid Employment: Part-time employment during the school year on 2nd shift; full-time summer job each year you are active in the program
- Shift Premium: Extra $1.00/hour shift premium
- Paid time off: Vacation, personal days and holidays

Program applications will be accepted in April. Interviews will take place in May in Ashton. Employment begins in June.
