Title: R&D Project Manager

Briefly share your work experience/background: I recently graduated with my Food Science Master’s from Mississippi State University. During my time there, I worked in the Muscle Foods and Sensory Lab where we focused on sensory, formulation, shelf-life, and published academic works of meat products. Further, I have previously taught food labs and completed thesis work on DNA extraction and sequencing of bacteria on chicken breasts. While Crest Foods is my first full-time role out of college, I have previous intern experience with R&D at Perdue Farms, ice cream product development at Imbibe Inc., and dairy manufacturing at Mississippi State’s Dairy Plant.

What are your hobbies/interests? My interests include: Outdoorsman ship, cooking, baking, gaming, science, and travel.

Tell us a little about your family: Majority of my family and I have grown up in Illinois and the Chicago-area, and most of us still reside here. Currently living with my parents, where we are out east in Batavia.

What are you looking forward to the most in your new role at Crest Foods? Hoping to learning more of the food industry while working on impactful ingredients and starting my career post college!
