I am pleased to share that our health plan scored an A+ rating for overall performance and expectation for the 2024 calendar year. In fact, we are trending at the same level and rate as we approach the half-way point of 2025!
Many factors are analyzed when calculating a performance score such as: type of industry, location, company size, members enrolled, health care service cost, service location, plan utilization, and spending. It is no joke; health care costs continue to rise to the highest levels we have seen so far.
The Crest Foods health plan is performing extremely well and our employees are a huge part of this amazing performance. Fun fact, when the performance review process takes place annually Crest Foods is put up against other companies in the mid-west region of the same industry type and size, along with being compared to companies on a national level. Crest Foods is performing so well that we are staying under the expectation for both mid-west market region and nationally. Woo-hoo, cheers to all of you. This truly is a team effort with maintaining a performance like this.
