Congratulations to our recent CIP winners, as well as the fiscal year end CIP winners!
- Christian Peterson (Mix B) – Modifying our container inspection sheets to add more categories for the person setting up the room to check off, reinforcing that these tasks need to happen.
- Mike Jenkins (Production B) – A better way to store generic lock-out tags in the west production area. Better labeling should help with proper storage, and will make then easier to find when needed.
- FIRST PLACE $1,000 WINNER: Charlie Marquez (Mix A) – Come up with a safer and easier way to access broken pressure washer buttons and vacuum switches in sweco rooms at the Mix Facility.
- SECOND PLACE $500 WINNER: Christian Peterson (Mix B) – Provide important pre-testing and swab information on the batch sheets that Mix uses. This will give Lead Mixers the information they need to verify that all testing is done before they blend.
- THIRD PLACE $250 WINNER: Jacob Bergner (Production B) – Use suction cups with 3 criss-crosses in the center hole for optimal resistance to product that frequently gets stuck in the holes (like orzo and broccoli). This leads to less downtime. The parts room has these in stock for use. We will get this added to the set up sheet.
