In late August, early September we hosted two sessions of First Aid/CPR/AED Training here at Crest. This course teaches you how to provide high-quality CPR on an adult, use an AED, and learn basic first-aid skills. It also builds teamwork skills and shows how vital the use of effective communication is in an emergency.
Stephanie McLean of Sauk Valley CPR was our instructor. She is certified by the American Heart Association and some of you may remember, worked with us through KSB Hospital’s Corporate Health Department years ago. She has since taught hundreds of students including business and factory workers, church members, non-profit groups, school personnel, licensed childcare providers, and healthcare professionals.
