Where in the world is Lloyd Droege?
I caught up with Lloyd at a local café for lunch recently. Lloyd retired from his position in the Blending Operation of the Ingredient Division. He had been with Crest for many years and was well known by all who worked with him.
Today Lloyd is anything but retired. He has just finished rehab on his second new knee replacement. He has big summer plans to keep working on his home in Rochelle. Lloyd is his own carpenter, plumber, electrician and painter which should come to the surprise to nobody. Outside of his home improvement projects Lloyd has been working full time for his cousin on the farm. From field hand to mechanic he is heavily involved in the day to day operations. No time in his life for a formal role in politics although he still has strong opinions!
Lloyd’s daughter is in California living “on a sailboat”. His son lives on the farm in the area. No grandkids … yet.
Lloyd says hello to everyone. And if he can find time he will stop in to visit!
