It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Nope, not Christmas. The start of a new fiscal year at Crest Foods may be chaotic, but it’s also a great opportunity for us to press pause, look back on our accomplishments and thank everyone who helped us with those achievements. We always try to ring in the “new year” with a big ol’ celebration, and for us that means food, laughs and lots of door prizes!
The 2023 year end celebration certainly delivered. Crest managers served over 600 employees on all three shifts from (before) sun up to sundown. Steaks started hitting the grill while the stars were still out to be sure breakfast would be ready for C shift at 5:00 am. While C shift enjoyed steak, eggs, fruit and pastries, A and B shifts enjoyed steak, chicken and savory side dishes. Everyone was able to enjoy ice cream from local business, Kristie’s Sweet Treats. Yes, even at 5:30 am.
This year over 250 raffle prizes were given out to hourly employees, having been donated by both Crest and our supplier partners. There was even a fun new photo station and a remote control forklift driving challenge for everyone to enjoy, courtesy of our new hourly safety team.
All in all, it was another epic Year End Celebration. But don’t just take our word for it. Check out the photos and see for yourself!
