Sanitarian – 2nd Shift

The Industrial Sanitation Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within a manufacturing or food processing environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant with health regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

• Execute thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and facilities in accordance with established safety and health standards.
• Perform industrial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation protocols in food production and processing areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Document cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred; experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning is a plus.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices within food production or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required by the job.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Warehouse experience is beneficial but not mandatory. This position is essential for ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities, contributing directly to the overall success of our operations.
