Starting Wage $19.53-$22 based on experience
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. General
- Fabricate a wide variety of metal and non-metal parts from verbal directions, sketches, and drawings to specified tolerances
- Design and implementation of equipment and production parts that will improve the efficiency, functionality, or safety of machinery
- Make repairs to equipment and support equipment
2. Welding
- TIG, mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum
3. Machining
- Set-up and operate all of the following machines: horizontal band saw, vertical band saw, drill press, manual mill, manual lathe, CNC vertical machining center, CNC combination lathe, CNC water jet, automatic surface grinder, hydraulic press, arbor press
4. Fabricating
- Setup and operate all of the following machines: shear, hydraulic press brake, slip or plate roller, specialty hand tools
General hours of work:
- Monday-Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm
Skills required:
- Hands-on experience either in a production or job shop environment
- Exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication and follow-up
