Title: Food Safety & Quality Manager
Background & Experience: I acquired my Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from Rush University in Chicago and have 8 years of experience within the QA Compliance field and 4 years of experience within Regulatory, specifically. I have been the subject matter expert for Document Control at my previous employers and have implemented various quality programs to optimize efficiencies. Within QA, I previously worked in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry and the retail food industry. In addition, outside of QA, I worked for a research laboratory and specialized in the coating of polystyrene microparticles for flow cytometry calibration and diagnostic testing, and I was an Emergency Veterinary Technician for 10 years.
Hobbies & Interests: We have a small family farm, and I enjoy caring for our chickens, ducks, dogs, cat, and parakeet. I love teaching my kids animal best practices and how to keep them all happy and healthy. We also grow many crops and enjoy harvesting together. I love to cook, bake and talk all things food!
Family: I have been happily married for 15 years and have 5 beautiful children. We consider our furry and feathered friends family too.
