Mix Facility Sanitarian

Grade 3: $17.03/HR

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mix Facility Sanitarian to ensure that our facility adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with FDA regulations and OSHA standards, while also promoting public health within our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of compliance and ensuring that all sanitation practices meet industry requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for daily and weekly tasks as assigned
• Follow all safety procedures and policies
• Wear all required/proper protective equipment
• Keeping all sanitation areas clean and organized
• Following all GMP’s
• Food Defense – question, challenge, and report any unusual activities
• Know chemicals and how to properly use them

General hours of work:

• Monday-Friday 5:30am – 2:00pm

Skills required:

• Lifting, stretching, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, and grasping – all for short periods of time.
• Ability to use basic tools, pressure washer and low pressure air
• Ability to obtain certification for electric hand lift and forklift (training provided)
