We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Pilot Plant Technician to join our Ingredient Division’s Product Development team. This role plays a critical part in supporting research initiatives and pilot plant operations, contributing to the development and optimization of ingredient-based products. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for driving innovation from concept to commercialization.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Process various dairy products on pilot plant equipment
- Record processing data for all products processed on pilot plant equipment
- Assemble, disassemble and clean pilot plant equipment
- Operate and complete preventative maintenance on pilot plant equipment
- Clean and sanitize pilot plant facility
General hours of work:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Extended hours as needed or requested
Skills required:
- Ability to problem solve and multitask
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and in small groups
- Desire for personal growth
- Follow GMP’s
- Follow proper safety procedures
- Good communication skills
